Teachers have always been prominent as influential strata in social issues. The presence of educators during the eight years of sacred defense has been one of the areas of their active and widespread presence.In the present study, the lived experiences of the teacher-warriors of the South Khorasan of participating in the eight years of sacred defense were investigated in a qualitative and phenomenological way. According to the nature of the research, the purposeful sampling method of criterion type was used, and with the in-depth interview of 10 people, the obtained data reached saturation. The data obtained from the lived experiences of the warriors of the sacred Defense were analyzed using the seven-step method of Colaizzi (2002) and MAXQDA11 software was used as a research data analysis tool. Findings from the lived experiences of the teacher-warriors of the sacred Defense were categorized in 6 main themes: "Reason of presence", "Consequences of war", "Role of Imam Khomeini (God bless him)", "Role of teachers and students", "Complex of warriors' mission" and "Role of femail teachers". In general, the findings show that teacher-warriors played a positive and influential role in different dimensions during the eight years of sacred defense.
